About Rashtriya Military school
Rashtriya Military Schools were started as King George’s Royal Indian Military Schools to educate the kids of people who work in the military. When the schools were reorganised in 1952 along the lines of public schools, sons of security service officers and civilians were able to apply. The school joined the Indian Public Schools Conference (IPSC) in 1954 and is still an involved member to this day. In 1966, the schools changed their name to Military Schools and their motto from “Play the Game” to “Sheelem Param Bhushanam,” which means “Character is the Highest Virtue,” was changed. They changed their name to “Rashtriya Military School” on June 25, 2007. A lot of the school’s graduates are in high places in the military and other fields, doing great work for their country.
